However, if the v8 is well taken care of, they can last a very long time. Reliability is another thing to consider. I didn't have any major problems with the Grand Cherokee, but I trust the 4Runner a LOT more. I know it's not legit data, but having been on Facebook groups for both the GC and the 4Runner, there are a LOT more people with issues in the Jeep.
